@Lexical Ambuiguity Fixer The chances are, you’ll be sitting in front of the Recent Changes, clicking the filter “likely have problems” ([1]), and just sitting there. And when you finally catch a fish, somebody else already reverted it… (Sigh, that happened to me multiple times) I do suggest using Twinkle as for now. 😀 HwyNerd Mike (t | c) 06:29, 21 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Lexical Ambuiguity Fixer Hmm, good question. I actually have no clue. I made around 15,000 edits in my first month, so it all kind of blurred together. But I would guess somewhere around 1,000 mainspace edits and 2,000 total edits. But you definitely don’t need that many to apply. LuniZunie ツ(talk) 18:41, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@LuniZunie I looked at the page you suggested I read for more info, but I just didn’t understand, what is the difference between a main space edit and an edit? Lexical Ambuiguity Fixer 18:43, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Lexical Ambuiguity Fixer A mainspace edit is one that is in the article namespace. You can learn about the namespaces here! LuniZunie ツ(talk) 18:45, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Rajveer Bajiya What do you need help with? LuniZunie ツ(talk) 17:59, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello LuniZunie:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in December!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than half a month of outstanding reviews from the current 2+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 December 2025 through 31 December 2025.

You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 3000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We’re looking forward to your help!

Hi, I would like to create articles about lesser known photographers in Iraq. To learn the process I would like to create a draft template page with all the usual sections for biography, references etc. Maybe this could stay in a sandbox while I add the content before making public. How can I create a draft with these sections ready for me to add content? Thank you —IraqiPhotoEd (talk) 10:29, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest looking at Wikipedia:Drafts. If you scroll down a bit, there is a form that says “Create a new draft”. Just enter in the name and it should create the draft for you =) LuniZunie ツ(talk) 13:05, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Luni! Thanks for being my mentor. I will start by reading the how to edit and start as soon as I will feel ready. I already feel grateful to know I can ask you questions when I need to. Cheers —PrinceOlivier (talk) 19:38, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Note: MoonsMoon‘s mentor Rambley is away.

Hey! So I’m trying to add content describing the discovery of a 1990s documentary in the Cambodian Art article. However, I’m not sure how to do the citation as this is the info for the source of this discovery:

La Danse Chak Mreak
Documentaire 2003 DDC-VI-001965, Bophana Phnom Penh

So how do I do this? Is that written in a way that’s Wikipedia-friendly? Would I need more info to create a citation? Or should I just use the report that mentions the discovery of the documentary? —MoonsMoon (talk) 00:33, 25 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

In this case, I would use the report that mentions the discovery as a citation just because it doesn’t seem like there is enough information for the direct citation =) LuniZunie ツ(talk) 00:40, 25 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I’ve asked you this before but I still just don’t understand. How are Userboxes assigned to a link and how would I know? —Lex Luthor 🙂 21:14, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Lexical Ambuiguity Fixer A userbox is assigned a link based on it’s Wikipedia internal link, however, instead of using brackets (i.e. [[]]), you use braces (i.e. {{}}). I hope that helps =) LuniZunie ツ(talk) 21:19, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@LuniZunie So, I’ve just made a userbox, but I have zero idea what the internal link is. How do you figure it out? I will put the userbox on the following message: Lex Luthor 🙂 21:23, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Lex Luthor 🙂 21:23, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Lexical Ambuiguity Fixer You have to create a page with the userbox code, you get to choose the interlink. So, for example, you could put the code at User:Lexical Ambuiguity Fixer/Userbox/Dont-care. Just create the page, add the code, and the userbox will be available at that page link. LuniZunie ツ(talk) 21:26, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@LuniZunie ohhh. OK thank you. Lex Luthor 🙂 21:28, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No problem =) LuniZunie ツ(talk) 21:28, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@LuniZunie OK one more thing on this topic, how do I create the page? I know how to create an article, but I don’t know how to create the page. Lex Luthor 🙂 21:29, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Lexical Ambuiguity Fixer Just go to a page that doesn’t exist, and it should automatically put you into the editor (where you add the code for the page, and publish it). If it does not, there should be a button where the edit button usually is, that says “create”. LuniZunie ツ(talk) 21:32, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello —Aregbede (talk) 12:51, 27 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Aregbede Hi! Do you have a specific question? LuniZunie ツ(talk) 15:53, 27 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, LuniZunie. Your account has been granted the “extendedmover” user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect and move subpages when moving the parent page(s).

Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving a redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.

Useful links:

If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I’ll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Toadspike [Talk] 15:51, 27 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Naggy15 The problem with this draft is that it does not show why it should be a Wikipedia article. Please expand your close at Talk:Balleny fracture zone so we can have something to discuss, it seems rushed (two minutes since your last close) and has no stated reasoning which can be defended or refuted. This was a multi-editor discussion which took opposing views of the applicable policies and guidelines without addressing many of the points in the nomination, thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 12:28, 29 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Randy Kryn The reason I closed the discussion is that no comment had been made in nearly a week. To be honest, looking at it, I am not sure why I marked it as “not moved” rather than “no consensus”. Either way, I have reopened it to allow for a more experienced page mover to handle (as I am still new). Thanks for the message, LuniZunie ツ(talk) 13:36, 29 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. The next closer may be similar, I can see both sides in this, but giving guideline reasons for a discussed close at least gives something to discuss with the closer. Randy Kryn (talk) 13:39, 29 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

New here, sorry if I am replying in the wrong place, thanks in advance for your patience con este viejito 🙂

From what I read on the Reliable Sources page, “The Daily Mirror, also known just as the Mirror, is a tabloid newspaper that publishes tabloid journalism. There is no consensus on whether its reliability is comparable to that of British tabloids such as the Daily Mail and The Sun.”*

The quote from the citation being used in the entry (as well as the article in general) reflects sentiments similar in nature to those noted by non-deprecated/reliable sources (ie ESPN, Sports Illustrated) in the entry and reflect noted concerns regarding scoring issues specific to the sporting event being discussed. Upon further examination I don’t believe that the quote nor the article could be construed to reflect sensationalism nor an unreliable claim.

In this case, the desire to maintain the citation’s inclusion is to provide an international source alongside the other recorded observations related to the event in order to avoid potential for US/North American chauvinism. I believe significant caution has been employed in vetting this specific citation and that it meets the guidelines as I best understand them.
