- @Mohamed0612: please make sure you read the message above before you continue editing. This is the third time you’ve made an edit involving massive deletion of content with a nonsensical explanation. R Prazeres (talk) 17:57, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi R Prazeres, thank you for the feedback and for the warning. I apologize for the issues caused by my recent edits.
- I am a local from Fes and I’m very passionate about improving the articles related to my city. However, I am still learning the complexities of Wikitext and Infobox parameters, so I used some AI assistance to help me with the “coding” and restructuring part. I see now that this led to massive, unintentional deletions of content and misleading edit summaries. It was a mistake on my part to rely on the tool for restructuring without double-checking the deletions, and I didn’t mean to “overwrite” your hard work or the existing citations.
- I truly admire the photos and the effort you’ve put into the Fes articles. I will follow your advice and use my sandbox for any major changes from now on, and I will stick to manual, smaller edits to ensure I don’t cause any more technical or content issues. Thank you for your patience while I learn the ropes here. Mohamed0612 (talk) 18:09, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Mohamed0612, thanks for responding and understanding. A piece of advice: to avoid these problems and to ensure that your edits are constructive, especially while you’re still learning, I suggest you focus on making smaller edits and focus on adding any missing information (as opposed to rewriting or removing existing content). This is especially important for articles that are already well-cited. And of course, make sure that any additions are cited with reliable sources that provide the information you’re adding (have a look at the blue link to see what “reliable” means). If you use AI tools, please use them for superficial things such as fixing grammar mistakes; not for generating new content. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions. Cheers, R Prazeres (talk) 18:20, 2 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi Mohamed0612. Thank you for your work on Le360. Another editor, Mariamnei, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Thank you for your work on this article. Please add more sources – primarily secondary sources – and footnotes to back up each claim with a reliable source. Please also establish notability as per WP:NCORP. Thanks and have a great day!
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Mariamnei}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

- @Mariamnei: Hi there, and thank you for reviewing the article.
- To give you some context, I created this entry by translating and adapting the existing article from the French Wikipedia, as Le360 is a major digital outlet in Morocco that was missing from the English encyclopedia. I understand your points regarding WP:NCORP and the need for independent secondary sources. Finding English-language coverage for local Moroccan media can be challenging, but I am currently searching for reports from international organizations (like RSF or HRW) to better establish its notability. I will leave the maintenance tags for now and work on improving the citations gradually. Thanks again for your guidance! Mohamed Filali (talk) 10:06, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you. I will remind you that sources do not need to be in English; French sources can also be used. Have a wonderful day! Mariamnei (talk) 10:22, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Mariamnei: Thanks again for the clarification! I have acted on your advice and significantly updated the article using high-quality French and Spanish secondary sources (such as Le Monde, Libération, and El Confidencial) instead of the unstable English ones. These sources cover the subject in depth—including ownership, controversies, and legal disputes—which should now firmly establish its notability per WP:NCORP. I believe the verification issues are now resolved. Thanks for guiding me in the right direction! Mohamed Filali (talk) 10:40, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- It looks better. Thanks and have a great day! Mariamnei (talk) 14:28, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

- A generic name error. References show this error when author or editor name parameters use place-holder names. Please edit the article to include the source’s actual author or editor name. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator.

- Done. I have fixed the generic name errors in the citations by standardizing the author parameters and converting institutional references to plain text to resolve the bot warning. Thanks for the heads-up! Mohamed Filali (talk) 12:32, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
