Editor experience invitation
Hi ObserveOwl. I’m looking for experienced editors to interview here. Feel free to pass if you’re not interested. <span style=”color:mediumpurple”>Clovermoss</span><span style=”color:green”>🍀</span> (talk) 05:03, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

:Thanks for the invitation! Unfortunately this is a clean start account (I informed ArbCom) and I am not a whole lot comfortable describing the types of edits I did in my previous account as a newbie. I might do so in the future if I feel like it. Reading others’ experiences is very enjoyable, though. ObserveOwl&nbsp;(talk) 10:37, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

::That’s completely understandable. I’m glad you like the project, though. <span style=”color:mediumpurple”>Clovermoss</span><span style=”color:green”>🍀</span> (talk) 13:50, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

I am not really a wikipedia editor at all and am more of a passing observer to the whole “BFDI” debacle, but I just wanted to say that I have noticed you consistently present and trying to respectfully inform incoming OSC fans on the ins and outs of how wikipedia works and wanted to acknowledge your commitment. I can imagine it’s very stressful but I hope everything can reach some sort of consensus in due time. 47.147.64.38 (talk) 13:32, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

Thanks, I appreciate it. I really do hope this stuff gets sorted out. ObserveOwl (talk) 14:03, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

Hey, thanks! Pretty nice. :> You can check the sandbox if you want to experiment, or the task center if you want to know what else you can do here. ObserveOwl (talk) 10:14, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
Ayy thanks! ObserveOwl (talk) 16:31, 28 January 2025 (UTC)

@20peace freedom25: Click here to open the editing screen. There, you can write stuff about you, and maybe put some userboxes if you want. Check Help:Cheatsheet if you’d like to place images or format text. Feel free to ask me if you need any more help! ObserveOwl (talk) 11:53, 30 January 2025 (UTC)

Sorry, but I hope you see how useless it is to play a rollback game with a vandal. Drmies (talk) 21:51, 20 March 2025 (UTC)

I did think about the implications of reverting repeatedly, it was just that the vandal added code that made the entire rest of the page look barely readable, even ignoring the initial large text, which sorta felt urgent to revert. But eh, thinking about it more, you’re right. ObserveOwl (talk) 22:04, 20 March 2025 (UTC)

sorry about the persistent trolling from this IP 103.82.0.28 (talk) 10:56, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

Hello, ObserveOwl

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username RoboCric, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, James of Lusignan, for deletion because it’s a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article. You may remove the deletion tag yourself once the article has at least one reliable source.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with RoboCric. And, don’t forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

RoboCric Let’s chat 17:06, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

@RoboCric: It seems like the article is not about a living person, though. There already are sources on the “Sources” section as well (no inline citations like [1], though). I don’t think BLPPROD applies here. (To be clear, I created a redirect under that title, and someone else converted it to an article.) ObserveOwl (talk) 17:15, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
Sorry for this. I actually used a semi-automated service to find out articles applicable for BLPPROD, and without a deep look I took the action. Still I firmly support the redirection of the article. Thanks. RoboCric Let’s chat 17:19, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

I’m making the page called Darkness Turns To Light and it is a heavy wip so i just nedd help 20peace freedom25 (talk) 10:38, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

@20peace freedom25: Hi! Have you read the notability guidelines for songs? I would suggest searching for sources like reviews of the song in order to expand the article. Otherwise, it should probably be redirected to Beyblade Burst QuadStrike. ObserveOwl (talk) 10:53, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
By the way 20peace freedom25, you may have gotten a notification saying that the article is up for deletion, but it has been withdrawn. The article is most likely going to be moved to Draft:Darkness Turns To Light for you to develop further before it returns to a mainspace article. ObserveOwl (talk) 11:15, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Nice! Thanks for your kind words. ObserveOwl (talk) 23:04, 9 April 2025 (UTC)

The cover of the game I published on Wikimedia really lacks evidence of permission. I was certainly too fast with the cover publishment this time.

I think it will be impossible to ask for a permission for a use from the author, though I decided to ask about using non-free rational use? Will it be correct for such publishment? Hope you’ll answer. Celtoi (talk) 14:44, 24 April 2025 (UTC)

@Celtoi: Hello! You should go to Wikipedia:File upload wizard and press the “Upload a non-free file” button. commons.wikimedia.org does not allow fair use media; you will have to upload locally to en.wikipedia.org. ObserveOwl (talk) 14:50, 24 April 2025 (UTC)

The Ashanti Kingdom is among the top notch Kingdoms in the world and the people are noted for being friendly, hospitable and polite to all races on this earth, as evidentiary occurred during the visit of King Mswati III of the erstwhile Swaziland known currently as Eswatini.

The King of the Ashanti Kingdom His Royal Majesty Osei Tutu II hosted the aforementioned king of Eswatini for four days within the Ashanti Kingdom as a massive durbar held in honour of the king to Ghana. Interestingly, King Mswati III got the surprise of his life when he was made to taste the sweetest palm wine from the land of Gold.

In the Ashanti Kingdom, which has more than 70 paramount chiefs and division of labour, and the kind of role played by each paramount group is one of the major reasons why the Ashanti’s are seen as the strongest when it comes to kingdom in Ghana and beyond. Fast forward, the Goaso People within the Ahafo Region who owe a strong allegiance to Otumfour Osei Tutu II and the Historic Golden Stool of the Ashanti’s were tasked to take charge of the production and supply of palm wine for the Ashanti Kingdom. Apart from the Goaso People no other town can do what they are doing and there is a special reason for that.

On the 28th June, 2025, onn the Popular Wontumi tv show dubbed the “State of Ghana”, Lawyer Obiri Boahen, one of the highly revered Historians, and astute Lawyer, who also doubles as a true statesman in Ghana’s politics gave the account on the special palm wine and traditional drink of the Ashanti’s given to the Eswatini King Mswati III during his visit. Afriyie Kwaku Boachie (talk) 12:28, 29 June 2025 (UTC)

@Afriyie Kwaku Boachie: Hello! This page, “User talk:ObserveOwl”, is intended to send public messages to me. Do you intend to contribute to the article about King Mswati III, to create an article draft about the TV series, or anything else? Feel free to ask me questions about Wikipedia if you have any. ObserveOwl (talk) 13:18, 29 June 2025 (UTC)

Since you left a message on my talk page regarding me adding object show-related templates to random articles that mostly have names of BFDI characters (Pen, Coiny, and Flower), there also seem to be object show-related templates to Talk:List of web series and Talk:List of animated Internet series since object shows are animated web series, so is it okay if I add object-show related templates to Talk:Anthropomorphism and/or Talk:Anthropomorphized food since object shows feature anthropomorphic objects and it is common for an object show to feature an anthropomorphic food character? Or maybe not because of WP:BEAN because if I tell someone not to edit object-show related content to a page, they might not take my advice as it may backfire, and they might vandalize/vandalise it with object show-related content in retaliation. DiscoveringMysteries03 (talk) 18:31, 15 July 2025 (UTC)

@DiscoveringMysteries03: Hello! I think it makes sense that the list talk pages have the notice, since some new editors will try to “complete” those lists with non-notable shows (despite the lists’ selection criteria). See edits to the list such as [1] [2] [3] (also this). But for a broad-concept article like anthropomorphism, it doesn’t seem like fans have tried to add a mention of the series (according to WikiBlame) or even suggest it on the talk page, so it doesn’t seem necessary.
To take another notice as an example, censor, we include it in high-profile talk pages of articles focusing on objectionable words or media where complaints have occured, like Talk:Profanity or Talk:Depictions of Muhammad. We don’t include it on every somewhat related page with potentially offensive content, like Talk:Fucked Up or Talk:Medieval Christian views on Muhammad (which includes depictions of the prophet). It is generally not recommended to add more banners in talk pages unless necessary, in order to avoid potential confusion; also, the likelihood that the OSC banner becomes misrepresented by BFDI fans increases if it is used in too many pages that only slightly relate to BFDI.
