Hello, Possibia!
Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we’d love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Possibia/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled “Contest this speedy deletion”. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. This page is a draft under development and not intended as advertising.
It is being prepared for eventual mainspace publication with independent, reliable sources.
I acknowledge conflict of interest and follow Wikipedia’s neutrality and sourcing guidelines. Possibia (talk) 11:03, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, website, or role, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text “Your proposed new username” with your new username and replace the text “Your reason here” with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you’d like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text “Your reason here” with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Isabelle Belato 🏳‍🌈 11:32, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This user’s request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I understand why this account was blocked.

I created it under the company name “Possibia”, which violates the username policy and gave the impression of promotion.
I work for Possibia and therefore acknowledge a conflict of interest and the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.

I would like to continue contributing under a personal username (Nobsen).
My intention is to edit with reliable, independent sources and keep a neutral point of view, including improving the article about Possibia and related topics such as clinical studies.

I will not use Wikipedia for advertising or promotion. Thank you for considering this unblock request.

Decline reason:

Hi there! To help us respond to the request, please review Wikipedia’s payment disclosure and conflict of interest policies and guidelines, then explain how those apply to your block? Thank you! Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 21:44, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback. I have reviewed Wikipedia’s payment disclosure policy and conflict of interest guidelines.
I understand that because I work for Possibia, I am a paid editor with a conflict of interest. I will make the required disclosure on my user page and on relevant talk pages.
I also understand that I should not make promotional edits. Going forward, I will suggest changes on article talk pages, rely only on independent, reliable sources, and let the community decide what belongs in the articles. My goal is to contribute transparently, neutrally, and in line with Wikipedia’s policies.
Thank you for considering my unblock request. Possibia (talk) 08:21, 18 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your proposed username of “Nobsen” is already taken. Please pick another username. PhilKnight (talk) 14:00, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There is no existing article about your company, and based on your now deleted draft, I don’t think it currently merits an article. You have a fundamental, but common, misunderstanding about Wikipedia. It is not a place for companies to tell about themselves, their offerings, and what they view as their own history. That’s considered promotional here, you don’t have to be actively soliciting customers or selling something. Our articles are typically written by independent editors wholly unconnected with the subject. Articles about companies must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Staff interviews, press releases, brief mentions, and the reporting of routine business activities all do not establish notability. In order for you do succeed at writing about your company, you need to set aside everything you know about your company and all materials it puts out, limiting yourself to summarizing what others have already said about your company. Most people in your position have great difficulty with that, and few succeed, though it does happen. Are you the rare person who can? Possibly, but the odds are against it.
Please read WP:BOSS, and have your superiors and colleagues read it, too.
We usually first want to see those in your position make edits in areas unrelated to their conflict of interest, both to learn the ropes and demonstrate that they understand relevant policies, before permitting them to indirectly contribute in the area of their COI. Is there anything you want to edit about other than topics where you have a COI? 331dot (talk) 15:15, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have read everything, but I am changing job now. I will therefor not continue this process on behalf of the company nor myself, and its necesseray deleting the account since its the companies name. Possibia (talk) 10:10, 3 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It is not possible to delete accounts. If you’re not going to edit Wikipedia anymore, simply abandon this account and never log into it again. —Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:20, 3 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
