A tag has been placed on Burry Heights requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled “Contest this speedy deletion”. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Astaire (talk) 04:30, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, thank you for pointing out to me that this may not be eligible for Wikipedia, however I believe it should be. Burry Heights is one of the most well known summer camps in Newfoundland & Labrador and certainly on the Avalon Peninsula. Burry Heights is also a spot where many rentals happen (if you would like for me to add additional information about this then I certainly can). I ask that you please consider re-thinking your decision to delete this page. Thank you. Rt. Hon. Chase W. Marrie (talk) 16:44, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I’m Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Mike Goosney. When you were adding content to the page, you added duplicate arguments to a template which can cause issues with how the template is rendered. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find these errors as they will display in yellow at the top of the page. Thanks. Howdy. Le’ts wait until Rob Lantz‘s resignation as PEI premier takes effect. This will occur in the morning of Dec 12, 2025 when he visits the lieutenant governor. Shortly before Thompson is appointed. GoodDay (talk) 01:23, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for your contributions to Tim’s Harbour. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it has no sources.
I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page.
When the article is ready for publication, please click on the “Submit the draft for review!” button at the top of the page OR move the page back. QEnigma 论 05:30, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

You seem to be creating a lot of new articles that probably are not notable. For example, this is not a reliable source, per WP:ELP. Articles about places must have reliable sources showing that people actually lived there, per WP:GEOLAND. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 19:31, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hello, I believe that these articles are notable, although small. Newfoundland and Labrador has many undocumented ghost towns on Wikipedia, I’m making these articles so that more people can find about them, perhaps even contribute if they can. As for the Newfoundland Grand Banks website, I understand that people may have concerns, however, I believe it is a good starting point to connecting dots on these pages. Rt. Hon. Chase W. Marrie (talk) 19:37, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Magnolia677: Sorry, I forgot I had to @ you in the message. Please read my previous statement. Rt. Hon. Chase W. Marrie (talk) 19:45, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
- You will need a reliable source that states there was a population of people living in each of these places. That’s the criteria. Magnolia677 (talk) 19:55, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Magnolia677: If I’m not able to find reliable source that states people lived there am I allowed to change the wording from “Ghost town” to “Place” to avoid the article being deleted. Rt. Hon. Chase W. Marrie (talk) 20:14, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
- If no one ever lived there, then it doesn’t meet the criteria at WP:GEOLAND. Many places that have names were just railroad stations, or crossroads with a store, or someone’s farm. Look at all the towns listed at CAT:AFD/P. —Magnolia677 (talk) 20:31, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Magnolia677: Alright, I’ll do my best. Thank you very much, have a great day. Rt. Hon. Chase W. Marrie (talk) 20:33, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

It’s all good. I see you’re from Newfoundland. Maybe on your travels you can get me a picture of Osmond, Newfoundland and Labrador. Cheers. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:36, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi Rt. Hon. Chase W. Marrie. Thank you for your work on Castle Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador. Another editor, Mariamnei, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Looking at the article more closely, since it is located without another town, you will need to establish notability as per WP:NTOWN. Otherwise, it should be combined with the article about the town. Thanks and have a great day!

- @Mariamnei: I would not be opposed to the article about Castle Cove being combined with Keels. I probably should have done it myself, but combining them now is alright. Rt. Hon. Chase W. Marrie (talk) 15:23, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
