Hi Spin g67! I noticed your contributions to D. Fairchild Ruggles and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay.

I note that you have edited only articles related to D. Fairchild Ruggles, which suggests you may well be connected to her or indeed be her. Further, your username with “Spin” carries the connotation of “spin doctor”, a paid publicity agent; paid editing is permitted on Wikipedia on condition that it is declared on your user page.

You should be aware that Wikipedia takes Conflict of Interest extremely seriously. It is inadvisable to edit any article on yourself or a person to whom you are closely connected; it is far better to place an edit request on the article’s talk page, where other editors can take up the suggestion neutrally.

Finally, I notice a favouring of scholarly reviews over those in magazines. That makes sense in academic research but not in a global encyclopedia. Wikipedia treats newspapers and magazines as reliable sources, whether the topic is an academic or not.
