A tag has been placed on PWHL Seattle, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled “Contest this speedy deletion”. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - Hi @Ra. Ross! I’ve left a welcome message for you on your talk page with some general links you might find helpful. Is there something specific I can help you with? 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 00:03, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
Hello Maddie. We added these historical links to the list of escape artists and magicians.
We asked help with:
We repeatedly tried to correct a link by Irving Laurice. Please advise how to correct and update the name in the lists with the proper link.
How do we create a page on the historical contributions to magic and escapology by Irving Laurice and his family?
We added this historical information with citations and network television video clips.:
Irving Laurice – Laurice.net
By 1990, 1. Laurice.net Laurice had achieved seven world records for life threatening escapes, including history’s first and only escape from a one and one half ton maximum security Mosler safe underwater in New York City’s Hudson River (confirmed by U.S. Col. Dr. Morris N. Young, MD (1990), James Randi (1992) Conjuring (book*), and other Houdini experts, critics and network news media and television talk shows including the Tonight Show, Entertainment Tonight, and every major news network).
Critically acclaimed, “Death-defying” [CNN, ABC], “Spiritual descendant of the great Houdini” [FOX], Irving Laurice is a “Multi-talented” [NY Daily News] performing artist, writer, producer, director, magician-illusionist, escape artist, mime, slapstick and verbal comedian, dancer, singer [tenor], musician [six other instruments, including banjo, concertina, guitar, piano], composer and more. He is the creator and star of the stage show and screenplay “Laurice’s Adventures of Wizard” 2. LauricesAdventuresofWizard.com , and “Portals Of Wonder” 3. PortalsOfWonder.org, which has brought pioneering Dr. C.G. Jung-informed magic, mime, music and myth to over 10,000 critically ill and homeless children, frail elderly Holocaust survivors and families internationally.
Laurice is the first known artist whose work has been televised to over 100 countries worldwide via satellite television network broadcasts. Over half a billion viewers cheered his death-defying triumphs and performances in magic, illusion, comedy and music. Laurice’s great-grandfather was a master magician and violinist, confidant of Houdini, mentor to the Warner Bros., and many others who helped form the American Broadway and Hollywood Vaudeville ethos beloved around the world. Laurice carries on his family’s centuries old tradition in magic and music.

- @Ra. Ross Creating your first page is no small task! I suggest you check out Help:Your first article as a starting point. There are a few things you should be aware of — first, your page will need to prove that the subject is notable. Generally, this means as many sources as you can find which are independent of the subject, are reliable, and provide significant coverage of Irving Laurice. These sources will help you meet the general notability guideline.
- Second, you will need to maintain a neutral point of view. I can tell you’re very excited about the subject, but language like “Critically acclaimed” or “Multi-talented” will not cut it for a Wikipedia article.
- Finally, if you have any real-life connection to the subject whatsoever, you will need to declare a conflict of interest. Here is a simple guide on how to manage that if you do: Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. I’d highly recommend you start your article in the draftspace (by starting the article title with
Draft:
) and submitting it via the articles for creation process. All of this information is also in the your first article guide which I linked at the start, but I wanted to write it out here to help get some of the important points down. Please let me know if you have any further questions! 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 01:19, 6 September 2025 (UTC) - @Ra. Ross I’ve also reverted your edit to Escapology for the time being — it requires a reliable source, please see this guide for more information on how to do that. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 01:28, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
Boss, Dont speedy delete any article, if somthing is missing, then warn there, ll improve it Kironshikder (talk) 06:12, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
I think the deletion of Charlie Brumbly is way too harsh, especially since he is one of the memorable cast of Baywatch: Hawaii. Momoa and him are colleague when both are relativelly unknown newcomer actor.
Also if aunty watch ep. 7 ending, Brumbly probably come back in Chief of War. If the series got season 2. Ryan Nambou (talk) 04:08, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Ryan Nambou, you may want to leave these comments at the deletion discussion rather than here. It may also help to read WP:Notability to help formulate your argument in terms of Wikipedia policy, the main relevant guidelines are WP:NACTOR and WP:GNG. Thank you for your contributions and I hope this helps! 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 04:16, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
Hello, please how do I write articles about other’s on Wikipedia? —Ejeromedoghene Wisdom (talk) 06:30, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Ejeromedoghene Wisdom You should read this article as I think you’ll find it helpful: Help:Your first article. Is there a specific article you’re interested in creating? 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 14:10, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
Hi, I saw your edits to Ronald Reagan and AIDs and that you’re interested in history, which is something we share as my degree is in it.
I wanted to ask, why do you think Reagan’s perfunctory and dismissive response to AIDs is not considered more in the public opinion of him? Ibn the sense of it seems to me to be barely mentioned. Jamiej2006 (talk) 21:06, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Jamiej2006! Welcome to Wikipedia! I would say that there are certainly sects of the public which hold it against him, but neither party was particularly interested in solving what was seen as a “gay disease” at the time. If Reagan’s opponents were more willing to attack him on it, it would’ve been held against him. That said, if you look at modern circles on the left or in LGBTQ spaces, it will absolutely be one of the first things they bring up about Reagan. Also, just a heads up — as your mentor I’m absolutely happy to discuss these things, but Wikipedia does have a policy called WP:NOTFORUM about not starting non-Wiki discussions on talk pages, so you may want to be mindful of that. You can also find me and lots of off-topic discussion like this on the Wikipedia discord! 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 22:37, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- ah i see, apologies, wasn’t aware of WP: NOTFORUM.
- Do you think if a Democrat was in office things would ultimately have been any different? Jamiej2006 (talk) 22:39, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Jamiej2006 No worries at all! There’s no reason that you would have been aware of it, I just wanted to let you know that it existed. As to your question, I think it would have. I’d recommend Jennifer Brier’s work “Ronald Reagan and AIDS”, which in part traces how social conservatives influenced Reagan’s choices on AIDS. As there would’ve been less social conservative influence on a Democratic president (though certainly not none — political party lines by ideology were not as clean then as than they are today), I’d like to think that the response would have been a little better, on the funding side if nothing else, though depending on the Democrat they still may have been hesitant to expand sex education. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 22:49, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for the recommendation.
- I read an article in the New York Times the other month about how the Republican Party is seeking to market itself as pro-gay, and I am still bemused as to how they get away with it given as recently as W. Bush the party proposed a constitutional amendment to bar same-sex marriage. Jamiej2006 (talk) 23:04, 7 September 2025 (UTC)

I am confused by this diff where you claim it failed verification, are you referring to the lack of purchasing a ticket? That was in the citation — however, I did not revert it, because I believed that it was unnecessary trivia as it doesn’t seem to relate to the crime itself, and the article is already suffering from WP:COATRACK. But wanted to call it to your attention anyways, or perhaps I was overlooking something else? TiggerJay (talk) 05:02, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
- Specifically the quotes do not appear in the source as written — was it in the video? I did not check the video, I can’t recall the exact policy now but my understanding is that if an article is being cited, the cited content should appear in the article itself, not an accompanying video as those can change. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 05:07, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
Hi Wasianpower! What tool did you use to find the info “…you’ve made 267 out of the last 1000 edits to this page…”, or is there a link I can click on the page that shows the number edits etc a person makes? I was not even aware this type of break down was viewable. I have used https://xtools.wmcloud.org/ before, is this what you are using? –4vryng talk 02:52, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- Wait is it the “Page statistics” link in “View history”? I never even noticed that link before, or did you use another method? –4vryng talk 02:54, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- That is one way to do it! I just viewed the page history and filtered down to your edits using text search, but page statistics is also a very valuable tool. Cheers! 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 03:06, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

Hi there. I have decided to take the plunge and let my enthusiasm for communicating information about things I am interested in take the lead in my life from now on. I am not going to lie. I feel immediately daunted by where and how to begin as a newbie editor. Like, do I first set up my user page? Do I first determine what topics I’d like to contribute towards? At what point do I look into joining a WikiProject or two? What’s a good workflow to help me in terms of a general heading on how to tackle my new hobby? I have a whole lot more questions stored in the bank. Lol. Just be warned, if you’re my mentor, you’re gonna need lots of patience. I ask a lot of stupid questions so that I can avoid making stupid mistakes. This particular quirk has caused a lot of irritation with a fair few mentors and teachers and such. So I want you to know I am well aware of how annoying it is. But unfortunately, it’s just how I operate. I look forward to hearing from you. —Limodius (talk) 13:32, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Limodius Welcome to Wikipedia! Feeling intimidated at where to start is totally normal — Wikipedia is an almost incomprehensibly large place. I’m going to leave some resources on your talk page, but Help:Getting started is exactly the starting point you’re looking for. It has some great resources and easy tasks for beginners! And absolutely don’t be afraid or feel bad about asking questions, it’s what a mentor is for. Is there any area of Wikipedia which you’re particularly interested in editing? 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 16:14, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
Can you check out my sandbox pls and see how I can make it better —ThaddeusKosciuszko (talk) 16:21, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @ThaddeusKosciuszko,
- You may want to read Help:Your first article. As it currently stands, your sandbox would unfortunately not be accepted as an article. You will need more citations, including WP:Inline citations, it would need to be formatted properly, and the image you provided should probably be removed, as it does not depict the person’s likeness. It may be worth trying to gain some experience by improving articles first before you write your first one, maybe consider checking out Help:Getting started. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 16:26, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
