- Hi! No, I do not. I joined a few weeks ago, to improve Wikipedia pages on women led businesses. My previous article did not have good sources. This topic was another that got my attention. I felt confident to submit a page. Feel free to delete if you want. Sources seem enough to me. WestwoodHights573 (talk) 07:25, 26 July 2025 (UTC)

Thanks for your contributions to Sitch (matchmaking app). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest.
I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page.
When the article is ready for publication, please click on the “Submit the draft for review!” button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Gheus (talk) 23:20, 2 August 2025 (UTC)

- Hi Gheus. I made the draft to the best of my ability. I think it meets the significant coverage for notability criteria. I am interested in tech companies, making lasting contribution is my hobby. I want to be the first to report on breakthrough news, in a meaningful way. WestwoodHights573 (talk) 00:12, 3 August 2025 (UTC)

Hello WestwoodHights573,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Julius AI for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn’t be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don’t remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hi. Great articles about Shirley Halperin, an incredbily worthy subject, and (the total badass) Kathryn Frazier! It might be helfpul for you to read up on sources, which need to be independent and reliable and original research, which is not allowed. Also, please double check for accuracy. (Kathryn Frasier is a lecturer at UCLA, not a professor. Huge difference.)
I have at least a dozen articles about very worthy women in the music industry that I started and haven’t completed if you are interested in working on them. Let me know, and let me know if you need any help. Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for your excellent articles! JSFarman (talk) 22:15, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @JSFarman! Thank you for your note! I am very interested. Feel free to share them with me. Can I find them as drafts on your talk page somewhere? I am trying to make contributions that are actually meaningful. Page about Shirley got 200 views already, as Wikipedia shows. I was convinced people would read it. WestwoodHights573 (talk) 22:47, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- That is fantastic! They are all in sandboxes: Cara Lewis – very important in hip hop, Marsha Vlasic, one of the first female agents, and Wendy Goldstein, president of Republic Records. There are plenty of others if you are not interested in working any of these. So psyched, and thank you! JSFarman (talk) 23:01, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- I love these. Will definitely try to put together articles. It is very disappointing to see that one of the first female agent does not have a page, meanwhile Michael Ovitz and many other male talent agent have. Not to dismiss their work, but there are women out these doing the same job, with minimal recognition. WestwoodHights573 (talk) 23:42, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Kathryn Frazier, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled “Contest this speedy deletion”. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. m a MANÍ1990(talk | contribs) 00:32, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @JSFarman , can you please help with some tag here? I think someone is saying it is a spam article. WestwoodHights573 (talk) 00:55, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Yes but walking my dog at the moment! JSFarman (talk) 01:01, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- @JSFarman, thank you. I tried to make a comment there. I hope someone sees it. I am not familiar with all the Wikipedia rules, but from what I have read, she definitely meets WP:Creative, as someone who has significantly contributed to a notable piece of work that has received extensive independent media coverage. I do not think there is a separate category for publicists on wikipedia.
- I do not think it is necessary to keep there a list of music project a publicist worked on, because it is clear in text what that means. But I can put it back there, if some editors want. WestwoodHights573 (talk) 01:07, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- I removed the speedy and will respond in more detail later! Don’t be discouraged, though. JSFarman (talk) 01:34, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! I got hooked on it. I check the articles for deletion or other issues, and I can see how much spam there is.
- And I just made a page about Wendy Goldstein.

- Thanks, but WHOA! Slow down. The articlce about Wendy shouldn’t be in the mainspace. Give the article about sources a read. References need to be indpendent. JSFarman (talk) 02:10, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- For some reason, it always goes straight to the main space for me. When I created my first article, it asked if I wanted to save it as a draft. However, after that, it only shows the “publish” button on my end.
- I used three Billboard articles – one from you and two more. I believe they are independent. One of them is an interview with a lot of personal insight, which I think is important to keep as a source. To cite the career path, there are also pieces by The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, written by Jem Aswad. I would describe those as standard industry announcement-style pieces, but not generic press releases like PR Newswire. Republic does not own those magazines, so I won’t say they are not independent.
- I also think Discog is a good source, since she has over 100 music credits listed there. Those are verified credits, and Discog is serious about its policies. WestwoodHights573 (talk) 03:24, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- When you begin a new article, use the prefix “Draft.” As in: Draft: Wendy Goldstein. If you hit publish, it will be saved in the draft space. (You can also create a sandbox: User:WestwoodHeights573/sandbox/Wendy Goldstein.)
- The Music Business Association ref is not editorial; it’s to promote her appearance at a convention. Same with Muse Expo. UMG is Universal Music Group (not independent). See WP:DISCOGS for info about Discogs, which is user generated (and a deprecated source). Check out WP:RSP.
- The trades are great. No issue with those refs.
- One more tip: be careful that articles don’t read like resumes.
- Thanks for writing the article. I am so psyched! And getting off Wikipedia. 🙂 JSFarman (talk) 03:53, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tips! I will improve the article. Funny thing, when I Googled Wendy, the suggested search was “wendy goldstein wikipedia”. It is ridiculous there was no Wikipedia. And when you search for her name on Wikipedia, you would see 80-100 articles, that mention her contributions to some of the biggest music releases. Hi @JSFarman! I did not remove your contributions, but organized the text a bit for User:JSFarman/sandbox/Marsha Vlasic. You can take a look. I saw that you were adding a paragraph there. WestwoodHights573 (talk) 19:40, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hello! WOW. I am amazed! It takes me about a month to write an article. Seriously!
- This is great. I am going to give it an edit (for NPOV, editorializing, and synthesis) later today or tomorrow. You are a fantastic collaborator! You have made this terrible week less terrible. Thanks! JSFarman (talk) 20:08, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for your suggestions ! I would not even think of Wendy, because in my mind I was sure someone like her must have had a Wikipedia page. I love the quote you added there “Marsha Vlasic won’t tolerate bullshit, and she’s seen it all”. It was so tempting to put in into a paragraph. WestwoodHights573 (talk) 20:27, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- I love that quote too but it’s just a mote; I would only use a direct quote that is more, um, encyclopedic. She is totally a badass! JSFarman (talk) 20:30, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- PS – Another tip. Start new topics for new subjects.
