Wikipedia editor

Hi, I’m Devonias!

I’m a new editor to Wikipedia (joined October 16, 2025) and am giving it my best shot! I am an active contributor on Genius Lyrics and the currently (as of October 2025) the top contributor for both my hyper-fixations of choice Post Animal and Djo (Joe Keery‘s solo music)! I love expanding pages for things I’m most interested in, especially for Post Animal who’s still on the smaller side and (at least on Genius) doesn’t have a big crowd compiling info for them yet.

I’m aware my limited field of interest will make people worry about what biases I’ll bring to my contributions, but I am trying to keep everything I add here neutral and objective, over-citing as opposed to under-citing, and avoiding speculation or gossip. I’m here because I care, but also because there’s a lack of objective writing on these topics I care about and I want to fix that gap in data and make learning about these bands i enjoy easier. I also realize I instinctively lean more towards primary sources/original research and am trying to minimize that where I can and where appropriate, but please let me know if I make any mistakes!

Despite my interest in these bands, I do not have a conflict of interest per Wikipedia’s terms (i just have adhd and hyperfixations lol), including no professional, relational, or direct personal connection to the subjects. If that ever changes, I will cease editing on their pages.

Currently I am most interested in updating and elevating the articles for Post Animal and Djo, including album and tour articles. I think it’d also be fitting to create a separate article for Djo since now I mostly see Keery’s acting as a footnote in music-centic articles instead of the other way around.

After checking notability, I’d like to make the following articles:

  • Forward Motion Godyssey (Post Animal album)
  • IRON (Post Animal album)
  • Djo (artist page seperate from Joe Keery‘s main page)
  • The Slaps (artist page yet to exist)
  • The Crux Deluxe (Djo album) (split from The Crux (Djo album))
  • Adam Thein (Producer and Mixing Engineer)
  • When I Think Of You In A Castle (Post Animal album)
  • Love Gibberish (Post Animal album)
  • Post Animal Perform The Most Curious Water Activities (Post Animal EP)
  • Last Goodbye (Post Animal single)
  • What’s A Good Life (Post Animal single)
  • Pie in the Sky (Post Animal single)
  • Gelatin Mode (Post Animal song)
  • Ralphie (Post Animal song)
  • Egg (Djo song)
  • Potion (Djo single)
  • Carry The Name (Djo single)
  • Keep Your Head Up (Djo single)
  • Roddy (Djo single)
(Again subject to actual notability, this is just a list of topics that might be notable)

I also help edit Starbenders occasionally too!

I’m also trying to help with minor edits beyond just my biggest interests, mostly in linking and copyedits.

Other information that may or may not be useful

[edit]

I see a lot of userboxes listing things like this but I’m not sure how relevant it all is, so here’s a quicker list just in case some of these are useful!

• artist using pencil, paint, marker, oil pastels, watercolor, and digital mediums
• animator (digitally with Krita)
• familiar with yoga, calisthenics, and some intermediate weightlifting
• sew, tailor, and make clothes
• love animated films and collecting physical media
• enjoy lots of ‘girly’ media so honestly I might work a bit over there too 👀
• personal and secondary experience with queer, trans, and aroace topics and neurodivergence topics (including beyond just autism/adhd)

I’m fuctional with coding; mostly I know how to look at stuff and figure it out, and I’m enjoying fucking-around-and-finding-out with Wikipedia’s source editor.
