The lead section has a concise introductory sentence, but becomes overly detailed with the particular successes of Hungarian football being listed here without any further introduction to the rest of the article. The content is all related to the topic and relevant, however, it is missing information on the origins of football in Hungary and the history of football between the 1960s and present day. The details present in the lead section would appear to fit more within the History and National team sections. The article maintains a clear and neutral tone for the most part except for a couple instances in the lead section where the results of two different games are described as the “greatest” and the “worst”. Words such as highest or largest would fit in place of these two. The sources present are properly cited, current, and relevant. However, the article overall requires more citations. The division of sections makes sense, but the sections may flow better if the Administration and National team sections were moved to be between the History and Domestic football sections as both the administration and national team are referenced in the History section. The images all adhere to Wikipedia’s guidelines and provide complementary information to the corresponding information. The most recent proposed change for this page is from 2013 and other edits have been made as recently as November 2024, but no information of those edits are in the article’s talk page. Overall the article is correctly rated as start-class. There is ample information regarding Hungarian football from the start of World War II to the early 1960s, but other information about its history is missing. There is also a good amount of information on the current state of domestic football in Hungary, but there is a need for more source citations for the information. This is an underdeveloped article, but with more citations for the current information, a reorganization to enhance the flow of the article, and more information on football before the 1930s and after the 1960s as well as women’s football in Hungary overall the article should be much more well-rounded.
