My account is not a “single-purpose account” just . Not having made many edits is not a reason to dismiss someone – it’s *difficult* to make edits, which is a compliment to Wikipedia – there just aren’t many mistakes to correct. As for adding new material, I can find on which I am more qualified to write than the person who wrote the original article. Thus, adding *quality* new content is also a challenge. I would rather have fewer edits and have them be worthwhile than have many. |

My account is not a “single-purpose account”, I just dont edit much. Not having made many edits is not a reason to dismiss someone – it’s *difficult* to make edits, which is a compliment to Wikipedia – there just aren’t many mistakes to correct. As for adding new material, I can find few subjects on which I am more qualified to write than the person who wrote the original article. Thus, adding *quality* new content is also a challenge. I would rather have fewer edits and have them be worthwhile than have many. The point remains that “number of edits” has nothng st all to do with “quality of edits”. To claim that there is a relationship is a logical fallacy.
