• The Late Gothic appearance of the church of St. Martin in Oestrich was destroyed in the Thirty Years’ War and restored only in 1894. (2024)

• Bach used music of thanks from his cantata Wir danken dir, Gott, wir danken dir, BWV  29, for his final Dona nobis pacem (Grant us peace). (2015)
