Shanghai Second Football Club[note 1], also known as Shanghai Second Orange[note 2] or simply Shanghai Orange[note 3], is a Chinese professional football club based in Shanghai, that competes in the Chinese Champions League (CMCL), the fourth tier of Chinese football. Shanghai Second plays its home matches at the Jinshan Sports Centre Outer Field, located within Jinshan District.
Shanghai Second Football Club was founded on 9 January 2020 by Zhu Jun, a former investor of football clubs Shanghai Shenhua and Shanghai Zobon. The club took the name “second” from the Chinese saying “friendship first, competition second.”
