Luis “Chito” Purugganan Bersamin Jr. (March 15, 1944 – December 16, 2006) was a Filipino banker, businessman and politician. He had served as member of the Philippine House of Representatives representing Abra‘s lone congressional district from June 30, 2001 until his assassination on December 16, 2006. He previously served as vice governor of Abra from June 30, 1998 until June 30, 2001 and as mayor of Bangued from 1988 until 1998.
