Football club
FC Tauranga Moana is a football club based in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. They currently play in the NRFL Women’s Premiership.
The club were formed in as a shared entity in 2023 by clubs Tauranga City and Papamoa. Initially, the club only had youth teams in their first season.[1] At the end of 2023, Otumoetai joined these two clubs to form a women’s team to take part in the 2024 NRFL Women’s Championship.[2]
The club made their debut in the Kate Sheppard Cup in 2024, making it to Round 2 after winning their debut game 10–0 agaisnt Lakes.
