Lunia Mandi is a locality in the Sadar Bazar area under the Lahore Cantonment Board, Lahore District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is located at coordinates 31.55°N, 74.33°E. The Lahore Cantonment Board has a population of approximately 443,314 according to the 2023 census. [1]
The settlement developed between 1975 and 1980. People have been living in the area since the early 1980s.
Lunia Mandi is part of the Sadar Lahore Cantonment Board area. It is primarily a residential neighborhood with local shops and markets.
The local economy is based mainly on employment in government and private sectors. Some residents operate small local businesses and shops.
The locality has one primary school, the Garrison Public School (1315 Loonia Mandi, Sadar Lahore Cantt).[2]
Ghousia Masjid is one of the main mosques in Lunia Mandi, serving as a place of worship for the local Muslim community.[4]
