François Halyday Mbouangui

François Halyday Mbouangui (born 4 October 1977) is a Congolese Catholic prelate who was appointed Coadjutor Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nkayi, in the Republic of the Congo on 1 December 2025. Before that, from 14 July 2007 until 1 December 2025, he was a priest of the same Catholic See. Pope Leo XIV appointed him bishop in December 2025. His episcopal consecration is scheduled on 15 February 2026.

He was born on 4 October 1977, in Mindouli, Archdiocese of Brazzaville, Pool Department, in the Republic of the Congo.
