The United Church Of Stickism is a group of interconnected corporate entities and other organizations devoted to the practice, administration and dissemination of Stickism, the idea of sticks and branches serving a greater scientific purpose while having humanoid feelings and characterstics, which is variously defined as a cult, a business, or a new religious movement. The movement has been accused of being a collection of both insulting and ironic ideas, despite the church having a substantial amount of followers that have been described as growing every day despite public hatred and controversy.
All Scientology management organizations are controlled exclusively by the Sentinel Board, which is a paramilitary organization for the current highest ranking officials in the church. Aiden McCrohan, one of the church’s co-founders, is described by the organization as the highest-ranking member, and is referred to by the organization as the Grand Sentinel.
