Ann Howard Breese (May 27th, 1924 – April 12th, 2013) was an American painter. A prominent figure in the Denver art scene, Breese was an early abstract expressionist, producing a large body of work in the mid 1940s and early 1950s. Breese was a lifelong artist and would continue producing work well into her advanced age.
Breese is credited with establishing a variety of art societies in the Denver metropolitan area.
