Violent Nature is the fourth studio album by American rock band I Prevail, released on September 19, 2025. It was the first studio album released following the departure of the band’s former clean vocalist Brian Burkheiser and the first to feature Jon Eberhard on bass.
On May 23, 2025, a week after the announcement of Burkheiser’s departure,[6] the band released the single, “Violent Nature”.[7] On June 20, a second single, “Into Hell”, was released.[8] On July 15, the band announced their fourth studio album, titled Violent Nature, would release on September 19, and in the same week released a third single, “Rain”.[9][10] On August 14, the album’s fourth single, “Annihilate Me”, was released.[11]
Violent Nature has been described as metalcore,[2] with elements of deathcore,[4] pop rock,[4] melodic metalcore,[5] grunge,[12] nu-metal,[12] and heavy rock.[13]
All tracks are written by I Prevail (Dylan Bowman, Jon Eberhard, Gabe Helguera, Steve Menoian, Eric Vanlerberghe).
