I want to start contributing new material to our articles on books of the Bible, and I would strongly prefer sticking to the NRSVue when appropriate. Does anyone know precisely whether the NCC/Friendship Press’s copyright policy, as regards to the “up to 500 verses with attribution” etc.[1] license, is compatible with direct inline quotation in articles? I’m not sure, even though it seems like it should be straightforward. Remsense 🌈  12:07, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Figured it out with the finer print, not sure why I didn’t before: according to section V, an entry in the § References section stating
would seem to suffice? Remsense 🌈  19:22, 12 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

He who does not work, neither shall he eat is a thoroughly wretched article about a Bible verse, which does no justice either to the verse itself nor to most of its resonance throughout history. One has the impression that Stalin found a long-forgotten line from Paul, and only in Stalinism did it become notable. This urgently needs work from both a NT scholar and a Church historian. Hi everyone

I noticed that several articles of Bible translation like Pashto, Turkmen, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Konkani, Kannada,Buryat, Kalmyk and many more articles on Category:Bible translations by language those can’t established notability under WP:GNG.

Some pages have info but not backed by citation.

I have some suggestion

  1. merge all those articles with List of Bible translations by language.
  2. provide sufficient sources to establish notability above mentioned articles.
