== Requesting help improving Draft:ChessUp (electronic smart chessboard). Topic was declined for notability — but reliable independent sources exist (reviews, press coverage, awards). I am unsure how to structure sourcing correctly for Wikipedia. Draft link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:ChessUp Any improvements to notability/sourcing or structure would be greatly appreciated. ==

Hello, recently I posted an edit request asking for review of a proposed edit on the article for Y Combinator CEO Garry Tan. I have a financial COI with the subject, so I will not edit the article myself. If you have any questions, please post on that page and I’ll follow up there. Thanks, WWB Too (Talk · COI) 12:07, 25 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello WikiProject Technology,

I have a conflict of interest as the author of VP-Expert, so I cannot edit the article directly.
I’ve posted a {{request edit}} on the article talk page (and also notified WikiProject Computing) asking for a very narrow, well-sourced addition documenting VP-Expert’s market position, using a reliable secondary source from InfoWorld.

Here’s the proposed addition for quick reference:

VP-Expert was widely adopted during the late 1980s. By December 1989, InfoWorld described it as "the best-selling expert-system software for personal computers."[1]

Would an uninvolved editor here be willing to review and, if appropriate, implement this update?

Talk page request: Talk:VP-Expert#COI_Request:_Add_Secondary_Source_to_Document_Market_Position

Thanks very much for your time and help!

A few weeks ago I posted an edit request for the article about the venture capitalist Garry Tan, who is the CEO of Y Combinator. Specifically, I proposed a new first paragraph of the Politics subsection. The current version is a bit random; the intended replacement explains how he got into political activism to begin with—which is not currently found in the entry. However, I’ve had a difficult time getting a substantive response. Would someone here be willing to review it? Thanks, WWB Too (Talk · COI) 16:05, 17 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I’m an employee at Trimble, a software, hardware, and services technology company. A few weeks back, I proposed a rewrite of the Trimble article’s History section via COI edit request. It hasn’t yet generated much interest, but I figured that editors at this WikiProject might be inclined to take a look at it. The draft, which you can view by following this link, significantly expands on the existing History section content and adds some better sourcing where necessary. I would appreciate any help or guidance that this WP’s editors can provide. Thanks! Jeremy at Trimble (talk) 15:23, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
