:There’s actually a lot more coverage of her in the Indiana Business Journal, but I don’t have access to this paper. Katzrockso (talk) 07:16, 15 October 2025 (UTC) |

::Katzrockso We should also look at WP:PRIMARYSOURCES. Indianapolis Monthly and Indianapolis Star would likely count as primary sources. I would also argue despite WP:PEOPLEMAG being a reliable source, a lot of these people it does have articles about are a case of WP:INHERITED. Take this here: if Gracie Hunt was a Miss Kansas, Miss USA finalist, and doesn’t have an article, redirect or stand alone? The maybe Casey Foyt shouldn’t??? Keep in mind this is not a case for keep or delete, but mainly keep or redirect. Limited significant coverage, and most coverage from third party sources also mention Carlie Irsay-Gordon, and honestly just doesn’t appear notable enough for her own article. Literally created only 4 days after she inherited the team from her father and is married to a former racing driver and executive on the team. We usually don’t give articles to owners that are not principal owners. Being a Co Owner doesn’t cause notability. Feels like a case of WP:NOTINHERITED. We usually don’t have articles on NFL team Vice President unless they had like a GM role or some high profile role. We don’t give an article to everyone with an executive role. I know we have articles like Stephen Jones (American football), but the Jones family is like most high profile NFL owners. We don’t have articles for co owners like Daniel Hunt (sports executive) or Susan Adams Smith etc, but I see no reason why this should not be Redirected to Jim Irsay #Personal life where she is mentioned at target per WP:CHEAP, WP:BLAR, and WP:ATD. I know there could be options between her husband and father, but her father cannot be changed, but re marrying, whether that is after divorce, widowing, this can change. I feel like a Redirect to Jim Irsay #Personal life is appropriate. In wouldn’t be against doing the same thing to the article of her sister Kalen Jackson. We could re write to name them as ones who inherited the team, but we can discuss that later. Let’s just discuss this first. And we can also vote differently for Casey and Karen if anyone wants to. - Weak keep — I am not sure if WP:NOTINHERITED is relevant here , and regardless of how she became the co-owner of the Colts, she is the co-owner. The other examples of co-owners are for people with a lesser public figure than Foyt, and I believe Adams Smith sold off her share of the Titans years ago. - Aesurias She did sell of her share, but not trying to push hard for one side, but this could be a case of too soon maybe? Keep in mind that I think Daniel Hunt is also the President of FC Dallas. Servite et contribuere (talk) 07:29, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Keep per the WP:SIGCOV of Casey Foyt in independent secondary sources.
- In People (magazine) (WP:PEOPLEMAG), there [1] is a 247 short biography on Casey Foyt, which summarizes her life, giving background biographical information such as her education, early work, family and relationships.
- WishTV ran a story on her serving as an honorary starter for the Indy 500 [2], which provides 265 words of significant coverage with statements of analysis like “Irsay Foyt is part of the next generation of Colts ownership, as well as her sisters Carlie Irsay-Gordon and Kalen Jackson.”.
- There is also smaller pieces of coverage that don’t independent constitute WP:SIGCOV, but contribute to it such as this piece from Indianapolis Monthly [3], this from Indianapolis Star [4].
- There’s actually a lot more coverage of her in the Indiana Business Journal, but I don’t have access to this paper. Katzrockso (talk) 07:16, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Katzrockso We should also look at WP:PRIMARYSOURCES. Indianapolis Monthly and Indianapolis Star would likely count as primary sources. I would also argue despite WP:PEOPLEMAG being a reliable source, a lot of these people it does have articles about are a case of WP:INHERITED. Take this here: [5] if Gracie Hunt was a Miss Kansas, Miss USA finalist, and doesn’t have an article, redirect or stand alone? The maybe Casey Foyt shouldn’t??? Keep in mind this is not a case for keep or delete, but mainly keep or redirect. Servite et contribuere (talk) 07:35, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
