* ”’Keep”’ or ”’merge”’; the [[2025 Dallas ICE facility shooting]] is drawing attention to the topic and is likely to continue to do so, and [https://www.fox4news.com/news/alvarado-ice-attack-6-women-arraigned this Fox4 story] about the topic came out yesterday. I think there is a good case to be made to merge both articles in [[2025 Texas ICE attacks]] or something similar, but I think it is too soon to make the call, as the Dallas event is a developing story. July 4th, 2025 Alvarado ICE Attack (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log | edits since nomination)

This does not seem to be a notable event. I did not find many sources highlighting this specific event, mostly local news and a few national news (WP:SNG). Almost everything was from the 2 weeks after the event, indicating that it is not WP:SUSTAINED. EvergreenFir (talk) 15:09, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Generally, articles about recent events shouldn’t be deleted for lack of sustained coverage soon after the event. 17 people have now been charged in federal court here, which means there will be more coverage as this works its way through the justice system.
