Description

I apparently lucked in to an editor looking to start an edit war, whether intentionally or not.

I made and edit adding missing info to a neglected page. I left an edit note that they may have misunderstood, they reverted seconds after I made the edit, suggesting they don’t know the source and don’t care.

I then reverted the edit thinking I would have some time to fix the issues and proceeded to edit in sources and references. By the time I hit submit the edit had been reverted again and I lost the edit. This time I Left a note that they are deleting information that helps complete the article and I am in the process of fixing it.
I reverted again and decided to correct and add in additional sources, again by the time I hit submit it had been reverted and I lost the edits.
Once again I reverted with a note asking the editor to stop reverting it as I was in the act of correcting links and sources at the very moment. Once again it was reverted by the time I hit submit, I lost the active edit, I lost ability to edit in general, and I got a 3RR warning in my inbox.

If the 3RR applies equally then I was not the first in violation of this rule.
I don’t know if this editor is having a bad day, and I don’t begrudge the first two reverts too much when communication was absent or poor because I figured I would have a little time to properly source changes, but the last two reverts are incredibly frustrating when I inform the editor antagonizing me that I am actively in the process of giving my edits (and the rest of the article) more complete information, context and sources and links.

Okay man, I’ll stop tripping my investigations on private filters. I don’t even understand why you tagged this filter as private when I personally think it’s completely obvious. Seriously man, just take a look at this carefully. Exactly three filters were triggered under 1000ms (closely impossible to make a different edit below that time) with one publicly available for viewing and a descriptive private filter stating “LTA edit summary…”. Yes! The content the user added was unsourced and original, but later lost control with unacceptable edit summary insertions. I’ll withdraw.‎ ‎ B⠄Jayden ^(talk) 05:14, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Note: Last one: I just did some minor fishing and I’ve gotta admit, that this isn’t the first time I use makeshift binocular goggles on a private filter. Note: Final: I just don’t believe it! That’s 3 wins now over my investigations through private filters [1][2][3] that were mighty obvious. The 45 guy removed my closure in this edit, let alone the reporter receive their answer much later than expected. I’ll also make report of this on my take page since this guy started an unnecessary duplicated topic there too, on the subject. No more comments! Just disappointing!
