*”’Weak delete”’. I can’t see any evidence that this was created by mistake, so it can’t be speedily deleted under G6. This isn’t something that needs a cross-namespace redirect, and I’ve not been able to find a suitable target in the main namespace but this last point surprises me so please regard this as a retarget recommendation if someone else is able to find a relevant encyclopaedic topic. Clearly implausible redirect, no one will search pi with such many digits A1Cafel (talk) 09:20, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
- Keep. Nothing has changed since last time, this is still (and no matter how many times it is nominated will remain) an unambiguous search term that aids people using this (and shorter) in finding the content they are looking for. These repetitive nominations are getting disruptive. Thryduulf (talk) 11:10, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
Template:R typi/Template:R tyop/Template:R from tpyo

Joke redirects. While {{R from tpyo}} was previously kept due to its nature as self-referential humor, these continued creations are highly unnecessary and keeping even one joke redirect sets a bad precedent. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 17:50, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
Apparently a photorejuvenation treatment; not mentioned anywhere on the English Wikipedia. 1234qwer1234qwer4 22:19, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
Grenada is a country and not a city. ArthananWarcraft (talk) 15:41, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
- If Grenada (disambiguation) is complete, Grenada, Mississippi is the only city with this name with an article. The nominated redirect can be retargeted there. – Eureka Lott 16:43, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
- My search results are an almost equal mix of mispellings of Granada, Grenada, Mississippi and St. George’s, Grenada so the present target is clearly wrong. Normally I’d suggest a straight disambig or retargetting to an existing disambiguation, but such a page consisting of just those three results (plus see-alsos to Grenada (disambiguation), Granada (disambiguation) and List of cities in Grenada) wouldn’t survive long before being “helpfully” adjusted to meet style guidelines rather than reader needs. Accordingly I suggest retargetting to either Granada or Grenada, Mississippi and hatnoting the other two uses. Thryduulf (talk) 16:52, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
- retarget to Grenada, Mississippi, Grenada (disambiguation), or Granada per above Oreocooke (talk) 20:52, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
- Disambiguate, since someone might be thinking of the MS city, or the city in Spain, or any of the cities in Granada (disambiguation)#Places. Nyttend (talk) 19:49, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
Unclear where this should target. Could go to any of the articles at the 87 dab, so maybe it should go there? Also there’s a movie called One Eight Seven. It certainly doesn’t belong here, so either redirect or delete as unhelpful. TNstingray (talk) 14:30, 30 August 2025 (UTC)
- I did some searching, and it seems the redirect is referring to the character Finn (Star Wars), which does have an article, so retarget there. 9ninety (talk) 05:46, 7 September 2025 (UTC)

Confusing with Anti-Israelism redirect. Sandro1041 (talk) 05:50, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
Excessive citations

Delete. Apparently created in the main namespace by mistake, instead of Wikipedia: namespace where there is already a page (redirect) serving the same purpose: Wikipedia:Excessive citations. —Wotheina (talk) 06:56, 22 September 2025 (UTC)

MediaWiki:Grouppage-Staff
[edit]
We don’t maintain redirects for different capitalizations of user group names. The global user group is named “staff”, not “Staff”, and so having a redirect would only cause confusion. GTrang (talk) 03:23, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
Some root vegetables, such as carrots, are not starchy vegetables. Some starchy vegetables, such as corn and butternut squash, are not root vegetables. See https://hopkinsdiabetesinfo.org/the-truth-about-starchy-vegetables/ Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 01:43, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- Retarget to Starch#Food as per Mx. Granger; it covers both starchy root vegetables AND starchy cereals; it doesn’t mention butternut squash but that can easily be added by an editor if it’s felt it’s a good addition. Either way, the redirect title isn’t “list of starchy vegetables”, it’s “starchy vegetable”, so listing every single starchy vegetable isn’t necessary– what IS good info that is presented in the new target but not the old, is the idea that starchy vegetables are usually *either* root vegetables *or* cereals, with a good number that are neither. Misleading and confusing redirect. The alpha privative is a prefix and not a standalone word. The standalone word “αν” instead means “if” in both Ancient and Modern Greek (compare wikt:αν/wikt:ἄν and wikt:αν-/wikt:ἀν-). Retargeting to conditional sentence or conditional mood fails WP:FORRED so delete. Warudo (talk) 13:52, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- On second thought, we could also retarget to What If… (2012 film), whose Greek title is “Αν…”. We don’t need to retarget since Αν…, which I’ve made, already serves readers looking for the film, but it is an option. Warudo (talk) 14:48, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Move AV to Av, as we do when there is a mix of cases on a disambiguation page. BD2412 T 16:32, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- @BD2412 The redirect I nominated is made of the Greek letters Alpha and Nu. Your proposal is off topic in this RfD since neither AV nor Av (the Latin alphabet one) have been nominated. Warudo (talk) 16:55, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- To the typical reader this will look like nothing more than an “A” and a “v”. BD2412 T 18:17, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- It depends on the font and the casing. An upper-case alpha will generally be indistinguishable from a latin A, but a lower-case one is different. Likewise, a lower-case nu can look like a latin v in some fonts, but looks different in others. And an upper-case nu is indistinguishable from a a latin N. Regardless, your proposal is off-topic here. 35.139.154.158 (talk) 18:37, 13 September 2025 (UTC)

- Delete, without the trailing hyphen, this is the wrong target, and I don’t think there’s an appropriate one to retarget to. 35.139.154.158 (talk) 18:37, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Comment. I’d encourage someone to consider listing Alpha privative at WP:AFD. Although this particular prefix seems to have a name, which is unusual, it’s just a prefix, like any other, and not a linguistic feature, so it fails WP:NOTDICT. 35.139.154.158 (talk) 18:37, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- I agree in part. I don’t see much use for Alpha privative as a freestanding article, but surely there is an appropriate supertopic into which this can be merged. BD2412 T 20:00, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- You could merge alpha privative to privative, which is about all privative affixes. Warudo (talk) 20:22, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- That would be totally reasonable, yeah. 35.139.154.158 (talk) 22:01, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
