Reason: Temporary semi-protection High level of IP vandalism today. Jeppiz (talk) 09:42, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

User blocked. Already blocked. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:29, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing. Unprotected and immediately back to vandalism jolielover♥talk 12:52, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content – Multiple TAs have attempted to change the infobox to say that production of the Model S has ended. While Tesla has announced that Model S production will end in 2026, sources have not confirmed that this has happened yet. ZLEA TǀC 14:03, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Unconfirmed rumors being added YKProd (talk) 15:44, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Persistent vandalism from anonyous users by changing logos without explanation. Same happens to template for said network as well. MrRingtail (talk) 16:32, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Continuing vandalism despite quite a few protections, some long-term, over the past nine years. Entranced98 (talk) 16:51, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Disruptive editing from auto-confirmed accounts, including sockpuppetry. Nothing good can come from reducing ECP down to auto-confirmed or lower. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 17:49, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. Entranced98 (talk) 17:51, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement. EaglesFan37 (talk) 18:30, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Create protection: Repeatedly recreated. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 22:07, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – Andrew5 again. SuperPianoMan9167 (talk) 00:11, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Persistent, incorrect editing by IP users. Most often, this includes amending infobox statistics to include all competitive appearances rather than league games only, despite constant reversion over many years (as per note in infobox, it is for “Club domestic league appearances and goals” only), but also including broader pattern of editing aimed to promote or praise the footballer rather than adhere to WP:NPOV. Pattern of editing resumed after previous protection of page for limited time only. Constant repetition of edits in question by IP users every month or two. Macosal (talk) 00:20, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement. EaglesFan37 (talk) 01:26, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Pending changes: Persistent vandalism. Sugar Tax (talk) 01:31, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: The page has again been subject to repeated disruptive edits by an anonymous IP user. The edits reintroduce speculative or outdated information and add poorly sourced content, without edit summaries, despite multiple reverts explaining the reasons, including references to WP:FUTURE and the obsolescence of the data being restored. These issues have also been pointed out to the user on his talk page.
The page was already under temporary protection on 14 January 2026 for similar reasons. After the protection expired, the same pattern resumed. This does not appear to be a content dispute but a repeated pattern of policy-incompatible edits followed by reverts. Podz00 (talk) 03:23, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary extended confirmed protection: BLP policy violations – Violations of WP:BLPPRIMARY along with WP:NPF and WP:BLPCRIME concerns. Complaint raised and discussion at BLPN.[1] Morbidthoughts (talk) 03:24, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Already protected by administrator Ingenuity. Semi-protection looks reasonable as a first step. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 05:44, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Former version was inaccurate and boring. I need to project a legitimate professional profile with the current version. ~2026-83322-6 (talk) 03:55, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

DeclinedPages are not protected preemptively. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 05:42, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – temp editors repeatedly edit-warring in violation of MOS:NATIONALITY. Joeyconnick (talk) 06:00, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. MakaylaHippo1998 (talk) 06:12, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – High-profile person (playing in Super Bowl in two days). MakaylaHippo1998 (talk) 06:14, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

DeclinedPages are not protected preemptively. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 07:27, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Requested action: Restore the indefinite semi-protection imposed in 2009.

Reason: Ever since the article was WP:TRYUNPROT‘ed following 16 years of protection, it has been almost consistently subject to disruptive editing (e.g., the addition of unsourced and incorrect material, the changing of information that contradicts reliable sources, and more recently, some vandalism) from IP and non-autoconfirmed editors (including an TA-hopper who kept toggling with the category list for several months straight, though they now seem to be inactive). A week-long semi-protection in October failed to deter this issue. Giovanni Potage (talk) 06:32, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: vandalism ~2026-84801-5 (talk) 06:59, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
