Place requests for protection increases at the BOTTOM of this section. If you cannot find your request, check the archive of requests or, failing that, the page history. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.

Reason: High level of IP vandalism repeatedly. Also heavy PR works entering the Wikipedia platform to damage the page and information. TKKV1234 (talk) 04:10, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Lectonar (talk) 06:21, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content. IP’s adding bad sources or deliberately misleading sources (just re-using an old source). Needs to be stopped 10mmsocket (talk) 06:38, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – User:Əzərbəyəniləri is evading a block from IP addresses to restore their preferred version of the article. Pending changes isn’t helpful here, as the edits aren’t obviously vandalism in isolation and are being accepted by reviewers. Belbury (talk) 08:07, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Persistent addition of poorly unsourced material RollonLaurent (talk) 08:19, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – Page has currently been suffering from repeated sockpuppeting/meatpuppeting going back to at least July of this year[1][2]. Recently blocked user has confirmed that the initial sockpuppet user has been canvassing people off-wiki for the specific purpose of obtaining desired edits (“The bibliography and call for experts was circulated by someone with whom I have an academic affiliation and who said she’d been blocked when an aggressive revert resulted in the removal of dozens of hours of her work[3])

Request a significant but not indefinite period of page protection given this is a WP:BLP article. Rambling Rambler (talk) 11:51, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry. –LDM2003 talk to me! 13:15, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – IP hopper repeatedly removing sourced content (including the citations). No communication. Mike Allen 13:26, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Note: The IPs are also targeting List of Lionsgate films (2020–2029). Mike Allen 13:28, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Persistent vandalism. Pending-changes might be more appropriate here, depending on admin discretion. ConnerTT (talk) 16:40, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Pending-changes protected for a period of 3 months, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Page history consists almost solely of disruptive edits for months… Toadspike [Talk] 08:44, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Continued addition of “,although ohters books like [http://”Tratado%20das%20ilhas%20novas” “Tratado das ilhas novas”] from Francisco de Souza mentioned these discoveries. T Newfoundland. ” which makes no sense, identical edits by IP and User:Gaugamela125. Doug Weller talk 16:49, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected for a period of 2 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. @Doug Weller please continue trying to communicate with this editor, it would be nice if they could explain what they’re trying to do and avoid a block. Toadspike [Talk] 08:49, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent Vandalism – High level of IP vandalism. 82.77.77.34 (talk) 16:54, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Pending changes: Persistent vandalism – Long-term, steady vandalism overtime. ConnerTT (talk) 17:12, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Requesting pending page protection from a disruptive IP editor claiming to be the subject’s brother. I offered to help the editor with learning Wikipedia’s policy on RS. Best regards Oldsanfelipe2 (talk) 17:18, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Persistent disruptive edit by IPs. Media Mender (talk) 17:49, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Requesting semi-protection for 3 months due to a high volume of unproductive edits from IPs and new users related to recent French parliamentary events. TimeToFixThis | 🕒 17:54, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary full protection: Content dispute/edit warring – Repeated edit warring against the current consensus from multiple editors who are willfully ignoring policies and guidelines, and making aspersions about those who disagree with them. Requesting temporary full protection to prevent further disruption and encourage discussion at the talk page. Trailblazer101🔥 (discuss · contribs) 19:03, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the MEAT and Canvassing would justify such protection. —CNMall41 (talk) 19:26, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: There has been vandalism and edit warring over this. Protection would at least help reduce that, but the edit warring will merit other efforts. Metallurgist (talk) 21:36, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Repeated edit warring and addition of non-neutral content. WhiteFactLoom (talk) 00:06, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Same reason as request for page “Sengkang Group Representation Constituency” Whyiseverythingalreadyused (talk) 00:37, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
