Temporary pending changes protection: The recent article history came up with edit dispute insisting that Kershaw should be a 2024 World Series champion too, but WP:BASEBALL‘s long-standing consensus dictates that players who were not on the World Series roster with their winning team they played with should not be listed as a World Series champion in that particular year, which was Kershaw’s case in 2024 that he was not on the World Series roster. The consensus dictates he is listed as a 2-time World Series champion (2020, 2025), not a 3-time champion due to not being on the series roster in 2024. Note: It looks like there is an ongoing discussion on the article’s talk page (and the edit warring appears to have subsided while that discussion is ongoing).
