Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Repeated target of IP vandalism, particularly from one SPA evading a block. Trailblazer101🔥 (discuss · contribs) 00:25, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Page hasn’t been edited in two days. Daniel Case (talk) 23:12, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Long-term disruption?. MakaylaHippo1998 (talk) 03:17, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

User(s) blocked: Matthew Solomon editor (talk · contribs) blocked by Rsjaffe. Indefinitely. Daniel Case (talk) 23:14, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Requesting temporary protection due to disruptive editing after a formal Third Opinion decision.

I followed the entire WP:DR process:
• Raised concerns on the Talk Page.
• Other editor (Mortdav) did not respond.
• Requested WP:Third Opinion.
• Third Opinion reviewer confirmed my edits to the Lead and Awards sections were neutral, properly sourced, and compliant with WP:BLP, WP:NPOV, and WP:V.
• Third Opinion reviewer restored my edits.

Immediately after the 3O ruling, the same editor reverted the article again without discussion and accused me of “paid editing” without evidence. This is occurring on a Biography of a Living Person (BLP), where unsourced or promotional claims must be handled carefully.

The editor is:
— ignoring the Talk Page
— ignoring the Third Opinion result
— repeatedly reverting stable, sourced edits
— making improper accusations

This pattern is disruptive on a BLP and undermines consensus.

Requesting temporary semi-protection or extended-confirmed protection while discussion continues.

Declined As noted at AN/I, proper process at DRN has not been followed. Also, I would add, the DRN report was just filed yesterday, too soon to expect any response IME. Finally, posting to three different places comes across as forum shopping even if that was not the intent. Daniel Case (talk) 23:27, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: High level of vandalism and the user not editing appropriately to source material; the user is already known for nonconstructive edits according to their contribution history Junsik1223 (talk) 12:28, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

DeclinedWarn the user appropriately then report them to AIV or ANI if they continue. If this had been reported there, I would have declined it as “stale warning” since the most recent one until just now was over two weeks old. But, since I just gave them their last warning, the next error edit should be the last one for a while, if they make it. Daniel Case (talk) 23:33, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Repeated additions of contentious, dubious sourced material to a BLP. Edit warring. Adakiko (talk) 13:07, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

User(s) blocked: underlying IP range (talk · contribs) blocked by Daniel Case. For a week. Daniel Case (talk) 23:40, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Persistent addition of unsourced content. Waxworker (talk) 15:05, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

User(s) blocked: ~2025-31325-36 (talk · contribs) blocked by Daniel Case. for 24 hours. Daniel Case (talk) 23:43, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary extended confirmed protection: Persistent sockpuppetry. Danners430 tweaks made 12:18, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

User(s) blocked: Aviation Contributor Arm (talk · contribs) blocked by PhilKnight. Indefinitely. Daniel Case (talk) 23:57, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Very sensitive topic with a history of vandalism and a hotspot for baseless claims. Recently, a persistent vandal with multiple accounts (check Wikipedia:Administrators’ noticeboard/Incidents#User:Finnashz and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Arsi786) was acting very unconstructive until they got banned. 1337.d4nd135 (talk) 17:25, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. The former sock hasn’t edited the article in over a week. Daniel Case (talk) 00:23, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: vandalism Delyan Peevski (talk) 18:53, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Declined You’re the vandal. Daniel Case (talk) 00:26, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Persistent disruption by a temporary account. sjones23 (talkcontributions) 19:58, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

User(s) blocked: ~2025-31531-99 (talk · contribs) blocked by EvergreenFir. for 31 hours. Daniel Case (talk) 00:28, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection. Binksternet (talk) 21:34, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: In case you didn’t notice, I’ve left some edit summaries, the justified reason for fixing the short description about British citizenship in Sheena Easton‘s article, and leaving the Scottish nationality as you prefer. The problem is you completely ignored it, and besides, there’s no need to request protection for this article if we can’t agree on which edit is valid and truthful regarding an IP address, or disruptive as you prefer to call it here. ~2025-37589-46 (talk) 22:20, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I’m referring to my review, for example, here: 1 and this 2. ~2025-37589-46 (talk) 22:22, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Consider the edit warring noticeboard – This is a case of possible edit-warring by one or two users. Because the temp account is at the third revert, and it has been engaging in similar nationalistic edit-warring on other articles. Daniel Case (talk) 00:31, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
User(s) blocked. Blocked for 24 hours due to edit warring. @Binksternet: A single report at WP:ANEW instead of reporting both here and on AIV would have been sufficient. It’s a content dispute. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 01:55, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Mittal Patel (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Permanent semi-protection request: Frequent undeclared WP:COI edits by brand new accounts (all edits are the same additions and all mark the edits as “minor”). — Rtrb (talk) (contribs) 22:38, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Pending-changes protected for a period of 6 months, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. ser! (chat to mesee my edits) 22:43, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Temporary extended confirmed protection: BLP policy violations – I recently encountered a user who persists in reverting some of my edits that aren’t disruptive, and this includes Ann-Margaret. There’s an ongoing discussion about her dual Swedish and American citizenship, which goes against the WP:ETHNICITY rules. The same applies to Anya Taylor-Joy which has also been the subject of debate both on the talk page and in various forums, as some argue that she shouldn’t hold one or more of the citizenships she does.

Just look at the edit history; there have already been numerous reversions and modifications if an agreement cannot be reached: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ann-Margret&action=history ~2025-37589-46 (talk) 00:51, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Content dispute. Please use the article’s talk page or other forms of dispute resolution. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 01:53, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite full protection: Persistent vandalism – In the past few months, this redirect has been the target of multiple vandals, including two in the past 3 days alone. HwyNerd Mike (t | c) 01:06, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Extended confirmed protected indefinitely. Full protection seems unwarranted. RunningOnBrains(talk) 01:57, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Addition of unsourced dates onto infobox. Asclepias tuberosa (talk) 01:12, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. HwyNerd Mike (t | c) 01:17, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
