* Similar usernames, like compare User:Pogačarnatan with [[User:Tukšumi]] (both are using alphabets with a little hook). Or compare User:Droz Ylos with [[User:Dani Visk]], [[User:DemisRuv]]: 8 total alphabets, 3 vowels / 5 consonants (probably generated the name using a program). * User:Cyfervil is following classic Elizzzzz pattern, edit random articles to become autoconfirmed and then publish a perfectly coded company article.

Suspected sockpuppets

New account (3 wks), almost certainly UPE – their userpage is basically alternative wording for The lady doth protest too much, methinks – who just recreated Draft:Taiba Al Humaidhi, speedied three months ago as a creation of a sock from the Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Macdonald5122 stable. So I figure, this is another one of that lot.

Except that, their first edits were actually to take over an existing draft, Draft:Kilde (company), which was created by a sock from the Elizzzzz drawer… and later edited by another from the Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Loewstisch one. So now I’ve got three possibilities. I’m filing this under Elizzzzz, because they created the Kilde draft, which Banker headed to straight away.

Of course, they could be just a new gun-for-hire with nothing to do with any of the earlier ones. Hoping that CU could shed some light on this? DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:32, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

• @Asilvering: This check is very easily becoming futile. A lot of accounts are stale, making it hard to really narrow down the cross-section of it. Beyond that, I don’t at all trust the data I’m seeing for Banker.sg – but I can’t prove anything about it either. If you have a direct user-to-user comparison where you think it’s strong with someone who is not stale, I can look again, but I doubt this will ever bring us the info we need. — Amanda (she/her) 16:35, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
