Just to second Izno and provide a little more detail (I’ve found Srimonbanik socks on more than one occasion), Srimonbanik has a near obsessive focus on political issues as opposed to cultural or religious ones, and almost always focuses on changing how left-of-center parties in India are described, and the people related to those parties. Perhaps Srimonbanik’s evolved into a more mature form, but he rarely did things like find actual sources for things or show the patience to actually build up an account to ECR with edit requests, and he’s maintained his shtick for several years now. @Anachronist: the Baangla account was created on 15 September, and achieved 500+ edits by doing 117 edits on 18 October and 145+ edits on 19 October, hence his/her trip to ANI that resulted in their losing EC status a few hours after gaining it.— Toddy1 (talk) 07:03, 20 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
