Aiming to reach 20,000 article improvements for the UK and Ireland long term. Anybody can contribute any article on the UK and Ireland to add to this list independently whenever they feel like it, and I will try to commit to running a series of contests/editathons to make reaching the target more realistic. Article cleanup and basic referencing improvements, expansions, new articles, DYKs, Good Articles, Featured Articles etc, are all welcome, though try to make new entries minimum start class entries with 1.5 kb of readable prose if possible, as the goal is to drastically reduce the number of stubs overall.

We reached the 10,000 milestone on 12 February 2024! Congrats to everybody involved!

Anybody who is interested in writing articles on anything related to the United Kingdom and Ireland and think they might like to chip in with this long term sign up below. This can include anybody who might be contributing in the contests and independent editors who just want to see content improved. The more people we have contributing and supporting this the sooner we’ll reach the target! You don’t have to commit regularly to this, anything which can be added at any time is appreciated. If we could get contributors from all over the UK and Ireland on a range of topics this will increase the diversity and make it all more interesting. If possible try to avoid short stubs, as the overall aim is quality improvement, but well-sourced meatier stub articles are welcome.
