This is a survey of American history from the late nineteenth century to the twenty-first. The goal is to introduce students to the major events and social changes of the period. As this course is offered at a historically Black university, we include a strong emphasis on the Black experience. An important part of the goal for our Wikipedia project is to increase representation in our chosen historical articles.
