Yuliia Anatoliivna Iliukha (Юлія Анатоліївна Ілюха) born 5 January 1982), sometimes transliterated as Yulia Ilukha or Yuliya Iliukha, is a Ukrainian poet, prose writer, journalist and volunteer from Kharkiv Oblast.[1][2]
She is the author of the novels My Women, Skhidnyi syndrom, and Zero and several series of children’s books.[3][4]
Awards and honours
- Oles Honchar International Ukrainian German Literary Prize (2018), small prose category.[5]
- BBC News Ukraine Book of the Year of the Year 2024 for My Women[6]
- Winner of 128 LIT’s 2023 International Chapbook Prize[7]
- Rotahorn‑Literaturpreis (Roter Ahorn / Red Maple), sponsor’s prize (Förderpreis) for excerpts from My Women, Austria, 2024.[8]
