Angela Koller (born 1983 or 1984) is a Swiss politician representing The Centre in Appenzell Innerrhoden. She was elected as a Landamann for the canton in 2025, becoming the first female Landamann in Appenzell Innerrhoden.
Angela Koller is a lawyer[1][2] and member of The Centre.[2] She currently serves on the Grand Council of Appenzell Innerrhoden.[1] As of 2025, she is aged 41.[2] In April 2025, Koller was elected as Landammann of Appenzell Innerrhoden, becoming the first woman to be elected to the position.[1][2] Appenzell Innerrhoden was the last Swiss canton where women’s suffrage was legalised, with women first voting in 1991 following a federal court ruling.[2] Her position was decided through the Landsgemeinde, a public forum that Appenzell Innerrhoden uses to elect its cantonal leaders and judges.[1] Koller was decided as the standing Landamann, with Roland Dähler as the governing Landamann.[1] Koller will become the governing Landamann in 2027.[1]
