Bharath Sagar (born 26 September 1992) is an Indian actor who primarily works in Kannada cinema. He made his lead acting debut with the film Kalave Mosagaara (2025), after appearing in supporting roles in Aatakkuntu Lekkakkilla (2019) and Mayanagari (2023).[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Sagar was born in Bhadravathi, Shivamogga district, Karnataka. He completed his schooling in Sagara and pursued pre-university studies at Lal Bahadur College. He later earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, and a Master of Pharmacy from Mallige College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru.[4]

He also trained in theatre with the BHARA troupe under Sashidhar Barighat and with the Thadarupi troupe under Mounesh Bariga.

Sagar made his acting debut with a supporting role in Aatakkuntu Lekkakkilla (2019), directed by Ram J Chandra.[4] He later appeared in Mayanagari (2023), directed by Dwarakish.[5]

In 2025, he starred as the lead in Kalave Mosagaara, which was released across Karnataka and later dubbed into multiple languages.[1][2][3]
