Nepali politician
Bishwa Prakash Sharma (Nepali: विश्वप्रकाश शर्मा) is a Nepali politician.[3] He is one of the two Vice Presidents of the Nepali Congress.[3][4] Sharma was serving as member of House of Representatives from Jhapa 1 before the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
Sharma was elected general secretary along with Gagan Thapa in the 14th general convention of Nepali Congress.[5] This was termed as rise of new generation in the oldest party of Nepal, the Nepali Congress.[6][7]
Sharma has previously served as spokesperson of the party.[8] He has also served as the national president of the Nepal Student Union (NSU).[9]
In the 2022 Nepalese general election, he was elected as the member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal.[10]
