Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies[2] (marketed as Chatha Pacha) is a 2026 Indian Malayalam-language action-comedy film based on WWE directed by Adhvaith Nayar and produced by Shihan Shoukath and Ritesh S. Ramakrishnan under the banner of Reel World Entertainment. The film features Arjun Ashokan,[3] Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath in lead roles, along with Siddique, Milan Mathew, and Lakshmi Menon in supporting roles.[citation needed] The music is composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, with cinematography by Anend C. Chandran and editing by Praveen Prabhakar.[4]
The film was officially announced in March 2025.[5] Principal photography began in June 2025 and concluded on 8 November 2025.[6]

The film was developed by creative producer Shihan Shoukath along with producers Ritesh S. Ramakrishnan and Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan under the banner of Reel World Entertainment.[7] Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies marks the directorial debut of Adhvaith Nayar, who has previously collaborated as an assistant director with notable filmmakers such as Jeethu Joseph, Rajeev Ravi, and Mohanlal.[8][9]
The movie was announced in March 2025 with Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath in the lead roles.[10] The screenplay and dialogues for the film was written by Sanoop Thykoodam. The technical crew includes Anend C. Chandran as the cinematographer.[11] Praveen Prabhakar served as the editor, Sunil Das as the production designer, and Kalai Kingson as the action choreographer. [12]
Principal photography for Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies commenced in June 2025. Filming was wrapped on 8 November 2025.[13][14]

The film marks the Malayalam debut of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy as music composers with lyrics penned by Vinayak Sasikumar and background score by Mujeeb Majeed.[15] T-Series acquired the music rights of the film.[16]
The project was officially announced on 9 March 2025.[8] Makers revealed the first look on 24 August 2025 on Arjun Ashokan’s birthday.[17] The film’s teaser was released on 1 November 2025.[18]
Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is scheduled for release in 22 January 2026.
Dharma Productions acquired the theatrical distribution rights for Northern India, marking its first-ever association with a Malayalam film. Mythri Movie Makers secured the rights for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films obtained the Kerala distribution rights. PVR Inox Pictures acquired the rights for Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, and The Plot Pictures holds the overseas distribution rights.[19][20][21]
