American nu metal band
Deathtape is an American nu metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2023.
Deathtape was formed in 2023, consisting of vocalist Abenmar Honrubia, drummer Ryan Joyce, guitarist Jimmie Aghas and bassist Jacob Rubino. They began releasing music in early 2024. In January of 2024, they released their first single titled “Vanity”, followed by the songs “Binary Love” and their cover of Slipknot’s “(sic)“, released in May of 2024. They released their single “Back It Up” featuring Zenognarly in July of 2024,[1] the song would eventually reach over 100,000 streams on Spotify. The band released their first EP in May of 2025 titled Adolescence, featuring pre-released singles titled “Indifferent” and “Intimacy”.[citation needed]
Deathtape would be featured on the Las Vegas rock festival Punk Rock Bowling lineup on May 25th, 2025 on the Monster Energy Street Party Stage.[2]
