Comment: To satisfy WP:NSONG, more articles which are dedicated to discussion about the song are required. Currently most of the discussion of this track is derived from reviews of the main album, so anything here could likely be merged into that article. While the song charting helps to suggest this is notable, more dedicated discussion is needed. Rambley (talk / contribs) 09:38, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

2024 single by Falling in Reverse
“Bad Guy” is a song by American rock band Falling in Reverse. It features professional wrestler Saraya and is the sixth track from their fifth album Popular Monster. It reached No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart in March 2025.
Riff Magazine said the song is reminiscent of the peak of the nu-metal era, featuring down-tuned guitar riffs, hip-hop-style beats, and a prominent chorus.[1] Wall of Sound said the song goes into hard rock with a throwback feel and some cyber-punk-style elements. The lyrics focus on frontman Ronnie Radke, with Saraya contributing a verse from her perspective.[2]
Metal.de described the song as having a catchy, radio-friendly tempo, which maintains listener engagement even as the album explores more experimental musical directions.[3] Sputnikmusic described the song as a “chuggy” alt-rock track reminiscent of early-2000s bands such as Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin.[4] Blabbermouth described it as the most anticipated unreleased song on the album.[5]
The music video is released exclusively through Radke’s Patreon.[8]
During Falling in Reverse’s March 2025 concert at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, “Bad Guy” was performed as part of the band’s setlist. Rolling Stone Australia described the song as self-referential and reported that its performance coincided with increased crowd-surfing in the mosh pit toward the front of the venue.[9]
It reached No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart on March 8, 2025, their fourth song to do so. The song also became Saraya’s first charted single and first No. 1 hit.[10] As of August 28, 2025, it ranked as the third most-played song on rock radio in 2025 according to Mediabase.[11]
Credits are adapted from Apple Music.[12]
