Eddie Williams and His Brown Buddies was an American musical group.

Floyd Dixon played piano and was the lead vocalist. Williams played bass. Headshots of the band members appeared in a 1949 advertisement in Billboard.[1] On one of their recording the band members were Mitchell Webb; Ellis Walsh; Floyd Dixon; Eddie Williams; and Floyd Dixon. Writers were John Hogg & Mark Hurley.[2]

Williams was part of the group that recorded the song “Driftin’ Blues“.

They recorded on Supreme Records (Los Angeles). Their song “Worried Blues” is on a 1995 Tuff City Records album of songs “inspired by” the film Devil in a Blue Dress.
