Het Grootste Licht (English: The Brightest Light) was a Belgian comedy panel/game show based on the British series Taskmaster. The programme was produced by De Mensen and broadcast on VTM in 2016. The series was presented by Gert Verhulst with Ruth Beeckmans as his assistant. The show ran for a single season of eight episodes. [1][2]

Format

The format follows the structure of the original British Taskmaster : a group of celebrities/comedians attempt creative or unusual tasks, which are judged by the Taskmaster. Points are awarded for creativity, speed, or comedic value, and a weekly winner is declared. Tasks are recorded both in controlled locations and on location, with studio segments for reviewing the results.
