Os Dez Mandamentos is a Brazilian telenovela broadcast by Record from March 23 to November 23, 2015, replacing Vitória and being replaced by A Terra Prometida. It was the 24th telenovela broadcast by the network since the resumption of drama production in 2004. Written by Vivian de Oliveira, with script collaboration by Alexandre Teixeira and Emilio Boechat, under the general direction of Alexandre Avancini. It is the second biblical telenovela in the world; the first was O Rouxinol da Galileia, from 1968 on the defunct Rede Tupi. It was produced by Record and Casablanca.

It is an adaptation of four books that make up the Bible: Book of Exodus, Book of Leviticus, Book of Numbers and Book of Deuteronomy, narrating the story of Moses from his birth to his death, highlighting the Plagues of Egypt, the parting of the Red Sea, the liberation of the Hebrew people, the revelation of the Ten Commandments and the forty-year journey through the desert to the Promised Land. The plot received three nominations at the 2016 Seoul International Drama Awards in the categories of best telenovela, best director and best screenwriter. The plot was also nominated for the Shorty Awards, the world’s largest social network award, in the television category.

It stars an ensemble cast including Guilherme Winter, Denise Del Vecchio, Paulo Gorgulho, Petrônio Gontijo, Larissa Maciel, Sergio Marone, Zé Carlos Machado, Vera Zimmermann, Camila Rodrigues, Adriana Garambone, Giuseppe Oristanio, Eduardo Lago, Angelina Muniz, Paulo Figueiredo and Giselle Itié.
