Upcoming Telugu film by Shiva Nirvana

Irumudi is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language crime thriller film written and directed by Shiva Nirvana starring Ravi Teja and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film has music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.

After the release of Mass Jathara (2025), Ravi Teja was reported to join hands with Shiva Nirvana for the former’s 77th film, after completing his 76th film with Kishore Tirumala.^[1] Further reported as a crime thriller, the film was announced to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers^[2] with reports surfacing that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is set to play the lead role opposite to Teja.^[3] However, by late-November it was buzzed that Priya Bhavani Shankar will be playing the lead role opposite to Teja, replacing Samantha.^[4][5] Coinciding Teja’s birthday, the film’s title Irumudi was revealed through a first-look poster, featuring Teja as an Ayyappa devotee.^[6] Confirming the earlier reports, Priya Bhavani Shankar was announced as the lead actress,^[7] alongside Baby Nakshatra playing the role of Teja’s daughter in the film was also revealed.^[8] Apart from them, the film also features Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira and Swasika in important roles.^[9]

During the pre-release promotions of Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi (2026), it was reported that the shooting for this film was already underway.^[10]

The film has soundtrack and background composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar in his second collaboration with Ravi Teja after Tiger Nageswara Rao (2023); maiden with Shiva Nirvana.^[11]
