Kaya Baysal (born 2 July 2010) is an English darts player who competes in World Darts Federation (WDF) and Junior Darts Corporation (JDC) events.
He won the 2026 JDC Junior Masters. He also reached the semi-finals of the 2025 WDF World Youth Championship and the final of the 2025 JDC World Darts Championship.
Career
In 2025, Baysal won his first two senior WDF titles.[1] At the Budapest Classic, he beat the defending champion, Sybren Gijbels, 5-2 in the final, after overcoming former PDC Tour Card holder Krzysztof Kciuk 4-1 in the semi-finals. He also won two youth events in Budapest – the Youth Open and the Youth Masters – and reached the semi-finals of the pairs event with his friend and fellow Blackburn Youth Darts Academy player Joseph Westby.[2]
Baysal competed in the 2025 WDF World Youth Championship. He defeated Thees Kogelnik 2–1 in sets in the quarter-finals before losing to Mitchell Lawrie 3–0 in the semi-finals.
On 20 December 2025 at Alexandra Palace, Baysal was defeated in the JDC World Championship final by Lawrie 5–2.[3]
On 1 February 2026 at Arena MK, Baysal won the JDC Junior Masters by defeating Lawrie 2–0 in sets.[4][5]
Personal life
Baysal supports football club Burnley F.C.[2][6]
