Indian Premier League personnel changes
The 2026 Indian Premier League will be the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a professional Twenty20 (T20) cricket league held in India, organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It has been held annually since the first edition in 2008.
The franchises were required to submit their retention lists before 15 November 2025.
The 2026 Auction will be a mini auction, meaning teams will have a smaller purse and can retain as many players as they want. They can also trade players to increase their purse for the auction.[1]
