Nattapong Kunakornwong (born 19 May 1980) is a Thai businessman who currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of SC Asset Corporation.[2] He is the son-in-law of former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra through his marriage to Pinthongta Shinawatra Kunakornwong.[1][3]
Nattapong was born on 19 May 1980.[4] He is the son of Worawit and Anchalee Kunakornwong,[4] whose family operates a clothing business in the Pratunam district of Bangkok. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University and later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from DePaul University in the United States.[3]
Nattapong is married to Pinthongta Shinawatra Kunakornwong, daughter of former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and Khunying Pojaman Na Pombejra.[1] The couple has three children.[3]
Nattapong first worked in his family’s business before joining SC Asset Corporation as a member of the board of directors in 2012. He was later appointed Chief Executive Officer.[2] During his tenure, he has led the company in strategic transformation, digital development, and expansion of its real estate portfolio, including low-rise projects and condominiums.[5]
