The partnership was highlighted on the official No-Q website as part of the company’s commitment to supporting local, neighborhood-based vendors.[3]

No-Q also partnered with Carifest, one of Western Canada’s largest Caribbean cultural festivals. Through this partnership, attendees could scan an event-level QR code to browse multiple food and merchandise vendors, place mobile orders, and avoid long festival queues. The partnership positioned No-Q as a tool for large-scale cultural events seeking to reduce congestion and improve attendee experience.

The platform gained public attention when Calgary.Tech published a feature article titled “Calgary Start-up No-Q helps vendors skip the lines at festivals”, describing its impact on vendor operations and guest experience in crowded event settings. The article noted that the platform addresses “one of the biggest pain points at festivals—long lines.”
