The Dynamic Miss Faye Carol received positive reviews from contemporary publications including from Bay Area music critic Phil Elwood who stated “No singer on the Bay Area club scene comes close to Carol’s sheer intensity – she doesn’t just sell a song, she sells her soul for that song to her audience. And she’s an original.” [3]
